Does anyone know anything about antique clocks?
My mom just bought this beautiful antique clock. She was told it is German but it doesn't have a brand or company name on it. It does have a date on it on the back though, it was made on February 25th, 1902. She knows a lot about antiques (she used to have an antique shop) and says it's for sure German but based on what I know, (I'm an art major) I say it looks French. The guy she bought it from said that it's porcelin, but it could be bone china. It's about a foot long and has pink flowers painted on it, and filligree details in the white china and the gold clock face. If anyone knows anything about clocks, it would be really helpful!! We'd like to know where it's from and the brand. If you're not sure, it would also be helpful to include a link of a website that could provide us with some good info. Thanks a lot for responding :)
